I need to get a few M die expander plugs turned to my loading dimensions. I can buy oversized plugs but I
need them cut down. The standard sizes are not doing it for me and I like the way they work.

Richard, if you can't find anyone here that can help you I would consider contacting Lathesmith over on Cast Boolits..... He has made a number of custom M die heads for me including the one I use for the 50BMG cast..... He will turn them exactly to your dims for both the step and the body....

I didn't know he did that. That's the way I will go.
 
Richard I messed up.... Lathesmith makes my Star dies..... Buckshot makes my Lyman M die plugs......[thinking]
 
I have used a drill press, file, then a diamond hone to get the diameter I want. They aren't made of super hard steel and will polish well.
