Any laws concerning back yard archery range?

I live in a neighborhood and set a 15 yard target up on the side of my house. Many times I've been standing there shooting my bow when a cop goes by, we just wave to each other and I keep shooting.

How does it make archery more restrictive?
Unless there is something else besides the following then the only limitation is 150' from the road if you're not hunting.

My point about the "more restrictive" was that firearms don't have a setback, when used on a range - there is nothing about that WRT arrows. The OP may have the space, but many do not have 150' from the road.

As for the definition of a "Highway" the EPO at the Hunter Ed course I helped teach said, "It's a hard-surfaced road. What's 'hard surfaced'? How will your head feel when I throw you down on it?" [rolleyes]
