Actually what I think he was saying is he scouted in the evening and only found tracks, no actual birds to hunt the next morning. Hence he struck out this evening...

Bagged one on my property today with fellow NESer ronbok. 20.25#, 1" Spurs and a 9.5" beard.

ronbok did the hard part. I just made the shot.

Took a Tom @ 10:45am 20.55 lbs, 1/2" spurs with 9.5" ..I'm going back out tomorrow with a bow see what happens; mostly out there to help my buddy bag his. Hope you guys get yours.
