This is Anton Fig's drum set used for years on the NBC TV Network Show "LATE NIGHT with DAVID LETTERMAN".
All interior shells are signed and dated in silver Sharpie by Anton Fig. The set was originally auctioned on eBay in 2002.
Included is a copy of the original eBay auction, a written narrative by the original owner describing his meeting with Anton and other details with numerous photos of him picking up the drums from the CBS orchestra studio and Anton signing them. Also a 1987 issue of Modern Drummer featuring Anton on the cover.
The drums are 1980's-1990's Yamaha Tour Custom. Birch/Mahogany/Birch shells. Color is lacquer finished "Cobalt Blue". Bass drum is 24x16. Toms are 10x8 and 13x9 with a 16x16 floor tom. The only significant issues are the chips in the finish on the 10" and I believe they are original. Will include instead, (not pictured) the original YAMAHA bass drum front head with the factory hole and Anton's hunk of foam that he used on the show.
The list of stars that these drums have played with and albums they recorded is too large to list here. There are countless videos on YouTube of these drums in action. Here is an example: Drums played by Ringo Starr of The Beatles -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2U9NVCqW-KI --

Located in Millis, MA.
