Loring Wirbel, a board member of the Colorado ACLU and co-chair of Colorado Springs chapter, is reported to have posted on Facebook a screed that said Trump supporters should be shot. The Daily Caller and Twitchy reported on and made screen grabs of Wirbel's post and professional positions.


Daniel Cole, Executive Director of the El Paso County Republican Party is credited with first finding the post by Wirbel.

That's a great idea! NES should have a Trump rally on Cambridge Commons (if there is a commons).

OTOH, imagine the MSM $hitstorm there would be if someone said that of all Hitlery's fans should be shot before the election.

I wore a Trump shirt around Umass Amherst during homecoming. There were many gasps of horror and double takes... literally. Also rode in top of a lifted Hummer H1 through Amherst in that same shirt and people were horrified. Good times.

I'm finding it difficult to wrap my head around the hypocrisy and outright naivete of liberals these days.
They hate violence in schools, tv, video games, etc. But openly threatening a certain set of the population saying they should be shot is completely ok? I think liberals should all be scooped up in "operation idiot recall" and sent to special facilities where they can be properly educated on how their views ignore just about ever economic and social force that makes this country what it is (or used to be) today.

I think these liberals should be endorsing Trump. After all he's a NY crony capitalist politician who thinks its OK for him and his fellow elites to have guns, just not you and I. So what's the substantive difference here between them? Oh right, the fact that trump isn't a socialist. Well I guess they're right in the regard. That's a good reason for them to hate him. But he's a crony capitalist. So why should libertarians endorse him? (clue: They don't)

I think these liberals on the left are just as ignorant as the people on the right endorsing trump. Just because a politician waves a flag on one side of an issue or the other, does that really mean that's what he really believes? Or is he just polarizing the masses to get a response? This is politics 101 folks I mean come on it doesn't take a rocket scientist here to figure this out.

I love how threats to shoot someone by a conservative are met with SWAT team raids and arrests but when progressives threaten to shoot someone that's their freedom of speech being exercised right there ...astounding really!
 
Nobody believes a lib when they threaten violence because everyone knows libs are collectivists. They have government do their violence for them. They abhor the idea of personal in your face violence. But they'll send the men in black to do it, they've no problem with that.

And people wonder about the uptick in police violence. It's no mystery. They've been weeding out the good ones for the last 25 years, in preparation. Add in riots and violent protests, and the police compact more into an us vs. them mentality. The blue line grows stronger, and every citizen becomes suspect in their eyes. There are regions in this country that will decimate a confiscation detail. A few of those, and moral will start to slip. The will to enforce unconstitutional edicts will evaporate. Their homes and families would become immediate targets. In a word, it would be an ugly bloodbath on both sides, but more LEOs would perish. Good luck getting the military on board. I'm a vet, and have friends and family in all branches, and talk to them frequently. The military is awake to the antics of this administration and would make no effort to support confiscation.

it wouldn't go down like that at all.

they just will keep passing more laws and restrictions (SLOWLY) so no one gets angry enough to go nuts over it. Look at the long list of gun control over the past couple of decades. and it's only going to get worse. Their regulations will be enmeshed and rolled out slowly into everyday life. a nibble over here and a nibble over there. It's a marathon race, not a sprint for the anti-gunners.

Essentially, we will become contemporary Great Britain, and 1776 will have been for naught.

Well, as for my family, we're all stocked up on laws. I'm following exactly the limit that I intend to follow.
 
hardcore donald trump supporters are just as bad as hardcore leftists--it's of course for different reasons at some points, but others they completely match up.
 
Liberals hate guns right up to the point they'd like to be able to force you to live how they deem fit, then all the sudden guns are just fine.
