Well like title states. When I first got my class A I wanted an XDm but found out not allowed in MA. I see people in MA selling a few of these which I assume was acquired before moving here. Now my question is I'm pretty sure I can purchase it off said person but it will oh be allowed to be a range gun correct? because it's over the 10rnd capacity.

Thank again everyone,
Ray

handguns not on the "list" can be transferred FTF (face-to-face), MA dealers cannot transfer those guns to you. aside from that as long as the mags are not post-ban you're golden.

You can own them and squire them through FTF transactions. And you would have to get a 10 round may regardless if you wanted to ccw or go to the range

You're correct that you can't use the post-ban magazines as they have a capacity greater than 10 rounds.

I recall a link to a video showing a way to PERMANENTLY reduce the capacity of the magazines. I'll look for it in a minute.OK... here it is:

From THIS THREAD comes THIS LINK (sorry, it's not a video as I had recalled), found with THIS GOOGLE SEARCH QUERY:

site:www.northeastshooters.com xdm xd(m) magazine modification.
