Here is the thing: if you don't have the mindset of an assassin, then you need to stop fantasizing about insurgency and fighting the system. A target is a target, an enemy casualty is always a good thing, and collateral damage happens. If you can't deal with that, do it like Ed, and stay in the basement with your porn collection, a bottle of Scotch and your M&P sport with the magpul furniture.

If you can't see the difference between a cop pumping gas and getting shot for no other reason than the uniform he wears and a cop going full retard, you've got some problems.
If that cop had been dragging someone out of his car and threatening to shoot him in the head and he got taken out, sympathy would be pretty minimal for him.
I think you'll find most of NES is anti a$$hole cops

First off, I said I didn't see the point in jumping to (correct, it turns out) conclusions before facts are in. Without facts, the odds are likely that someone was targeting him for any number of reasons we've seen in the past couple weeks...murder and rape top the list, along with lesser felonies in the name of going home safe. As for being targeted for his uniform; instead of his actions, well we all seem to paint with a broad brush. In cops cases lately, that brush is dirty.
Sorry to offend. The guy killed may be an awesome stand up for citizens type, but I doubt it. At best, he probably stood by while others abused the system, keeping silent for the thin blue line.

When you posted the first "jumping to conclusions post, the video of the shitbag had already been posted, showing that it WAS a black man. White Guilt a little?
 
No white guilt at all. I hadn't seen the video of the shooter, all the stories I saw simply said a dark complected man. That doesn't equal black to me.
The murder and rape were from other cops trying to get home safe. Plenty of posts on here, should take you 15 seconds to find. But, those who stick up for these scumbags are the same in my book. So excuse me for not believing this guy was an angel. Maybe he was, but the odds aren't in favor of it. You can cry my share of tears either way, my eyes are dry.

I don't just mean shooting a guy standing there with his hands over his head, but the fact the two cops who shot him don't get immediately arrested as would anyone who isn't a cop. When cops aren't held accountable, other cops, whether good or bad themselves, pay the price.

If this LEO was a great guy, then I feel sorry for his family for their loss. Unfortunately, putting on any LEO uniform these days is rapidly approaching wearing the uniform of a British Red Coat or Nazi SS during war time. I'm sure not every Nazi SS officer was complete scum, I'm sure some of them were decent family men that were "just following orders".

I'd say right now we're starting to see the early section of the "innovators" curve with regards to people declaring war on the .gov. Some people have decided they've had enough and won't take anymore. The more naked women assaulted in their homes, unarmed citizens shot, babies flashbanged in the face, no-knock raids at the wrong address, we see the more people are going to declare war. When people declare war on "the .gov" it doesn't matter if you're from po-dunk PD or NYPD or MA SP, you're "the .gov".

I get the feeling that the perpetrators of these "executions" wouldn't be able to articulate this if you paid them. This seems to me more of a raw "F@&$ the police" action, same as any other stereotypical response, where the crimes of some make the it open season on all parties of a group. If the cop was a dbag, it's one thing, but I somehow doubt that the shooter knew one way or another, and we'll probably never know.
