Another Buffer spring thread

HI,

I know there have been lots of the threads on the topic carbine buffer spring with rifle length gas tubes. From what I've read and understand I should buy a carbine buffer spring even though I have the rifle length gas tube.

Basically I have a 24 inch bull barrel with carbine buffer tube, however I want to purchase a Armaspec Stealth Recoil Spring Buffer Assembly They come in 3.3oz, 3.8oz,4.7oz or 5.6oz, can I ask the brain trust on which on I should order.

The gas and buffer system are independent.

You can run a carbine buffer system with pistol, carbine, mid , or rifle length gas.

I would start with an H buffer (3.8) and see if you get the function and recoil impulse you are looking for.

Are you running this suppressed? Do you have an adjustable gas block?

Not running suppressed, in MA

I know with normal buffer system they're cheap and you can experiment, these are $76 a pop so I was hoping to get close to the right weight out of the gate.
