Simply insert the .22 LR forcing cone into your revolver forcing cone and insert the barrel with its knurled brass bushing and plastic locking ring into your barrel and screw the .22 barrel into the forcing cone, and you now have an extremely accurate rimfire revolver. By loading the .22 ammunition into the 6 inserts and dropping in the supplied offset firing pins, the revolver is ready to fire either single or double action at your choice. There is no residue left in the barrel of your revolver since the insert extends beyond the muzzle.
