As luck would have it, after six months, I chanced upon my last pistol. Imperial proofed M13 Sauer, serial 81393. The highest Imperial proofed Sauer is 92,907, so we're talking early 1918. Based on the excellent condition it probably came home with a Doughboy. I had passed on a dozen over the months as they lacked the Imperial proof; my thanks to NES's "Cooler". Very clean inside and out, just a safety strip and wipe down. Hope to try it soon, but I'm critically short of 32 right now....gotta love the pandemic.

I said "last" again. This was the last pistol on my reclamation list from the great purge of '17. There are other's I like, M00 Browning, Imperial Walther 4, and Sauer 38H, but none I'll die without getting.

Pairs well with my Imperial 1915 M14 Mauser.

Full 50 feet this time; still good for a 3” barrel. Think it’s my trigger action making me drift up and right. New magazine worked fine. Winchester target ammo left, carry ammo right.
