Shame he gave himself up -- those Secret Service guys could've used the practice.

Evening rush hour traffic was snarled by a police chase yesterday, after a man allegedly threatened two Secret Service agents with a gun, causing police to close traffic on Interstate 293 for about 30 minutes.
Alan Garceau, 41, of 65 Wellington Drive, was charged with criminal threatening, resisting detention and as a felon in possession of a firearm following the incident, which began just before 5 p.m.
Manchester police were called to the Shell gas station on Eddy Road after Garceau had flashed a gun at two agents "in a threatening fashion," according to police.
A perimeter was established around I-293 with the help of state police as a precaution because Garceau was believed to be armed and dangerous, police said.
Search dogs were used to track Garceau along the Merrimack River just south of the Fish Ladder at the Amoskeag Dam.
Police said Garceau passed through a storm drain under the highway, but eventually gave himself up to police a short time later.
He turned over a gun to police at the scene.
Police said traffic patterns were back to normal by 5:30 p.m.
