This piece is from the late Craig Brown collection. The description said "depot rework," with an estimate of $600-800, but I think it is all-but depot matching. Excellent condition, and wide variety of Imperial, Nazi, armorer's parts and different manufacturers. I come up with 17 different parts makers/time periods.

Stock has shrapnel damage to the bolt recess, comb, and trigger guard.

Nice...
I have a on line bid on a small auction for Siezed rifles.
1917 that looks good and will only need the proper sights. Currently has Lyman target sights.
Buyer's premiums are steep on this one But I'm current high bid and sell below my limit with the fee

Range report: 45F, overcast, windy, drizzle. 100 yards benched with 30 rounds '53 Yugo and 15 rounds '78 Yugo. The '53 Yugo has been especially good lately. Second Mauser that shoots low, and this one a little left. At the end I was aiming a little up from the bottom and on the right edge of the paper to hit center. I moved the front sight a little when I got home as I had left my sight hood remover at home. 15 practice on the left target. 1st 5 hit black on the right. Then just shot for fun. The '78 Yugo shot even lower. Nice, comfortable rifle.
