Ammunition resource

Hey all

Does anyone know of a website or a book that contains information on specific ammunition types and loads.

For example in the 30-06 what type of game are specific for different grain weights. What are bullet velocity and drop for these loads.

I'm fairly new to all this, so trying to learn as much as I can.

I think the closest thing you are going to get to that is a reloading manual. I have a number and the Sierra manual is probably the most hunting oriented.

I have an earlier version and it has most of what you asked about. Doesn't have info on powder charges as it is NOT a reloading manual. But has tons of info on damn near every commercially sold cartridge out there. I find it to be an excellent reference manual.
