ammo Issue?

I have a colt 1911 Gov Model. I have recently bought this gun which came with some ammo all the ammo cycles fine into the chamber. but the Cor-Bon hollow points jam up when i rack the slide should i just get rid of this ammo? I`went to four season an carl told me the the federal hydro shocks were good they seem to work fine.

Just a thought but you are cycling the ammo into the firearm at a range and not at home. Way too much chance of a mishap.

Get some Remington Golden Sabers, they function well, much like ball in a .45

1911, especially military models, are picky eaters.

The nice thing is that the 230gr FMJ is plenty good enough for defensive purposes.

+1. IMO if a .45 won't cycle a std pressure 230 gr GS load the gun is broken and I don't want it.
