It says remanufactured, which automatically means even if it was legit, its probably garbage anyways. It's probably that "Israeli milsurp ammo" (sic) that is sold at gun shows everywhere, where it comes loose packed in an ammo can... and the ammo is all pretty and shiny, but there are about 48 different headstamps in the can.

It's probably also loaded some piss weak standard that makes Wolf look good.

I'll play devil's advocate.....those of us that have bought .223 by the pallet remember a company that made decent quality reloaded ammunition called Maine Cartridge Co..they were in Greenbush which is just slightly south of Lincoln, ME...maybe they have gone back in business? The price/rd in 1998 was 11 cents ( in quantity). Lincoln ME is about 5 hrs N of Boston; I would just do COD if I wanted the ammo. That being said, there is NO WAY I would wire a newbie seller 10K..it doesn't appear as though his previous auctions had any takers.

I'll play devil's advocate.....those of us that have bought .223 by the pallet remember a company that made decent quality reloaded ammunition called Maine Cartridge Co..they were in Greenbush which is just slightly south of Lincoln, ME...maybe they have gone back in business? Let me Devil's Advocate your Devil's Advocate. Even if it was a legit deal, that's $250/1K for remanufactured ammo. Actual M193 ammo is selling for just above that.

I wholeheartedly agree with you on that point....too high for reloads (at least for me and I think you too) I don't see a bargain here (especially on a 10K dollar order)

I had a wooden case of Maine Cartridge Company .223 that I bought in 1999 (+/- a year or two). It was reloaded LC brass, fine stuff.
