Ammo Cost

Anybody have a good reason for the huge increase in the price of ammo? I hear this bullshit that the war is one factor. I don`t buy it

The increase in demand for the raw materials (esp copper) from India and China. Also a reason why gas prices are increasing.

The War has sumthin to do with it, sure..........but as long as you have places like China and India buying every bit of raw material (and oil) they can lay thier hands on, the prices aren't coming down any time soon.
Anybody know how many firms/contractors are producing military ammunition domestically?
Is LC the only one?

I think just about everyone makes ammo for the .mil guys. The big manufacturers probably sub out certain quantities to the smaller guys.
