I wonder how this went.
Don’t find any coverage of it, wonder how thst went. A sit-in at a fireworks display doesn’t seem very well thought-out.
"oppressive capitalist systems"
I always love that angle.
I wish all these douchenozzles would just leave if they are so horrified by our past.
I hope people shot bottle rockets and thunder sticks at them during their "sit in"
Let me guess, a friend, that you have never met and would walk right by you in real life posted this to Facebook, share or like if your are sitting in your house afraid to go outside.
It's Amherst! Who the hell would notice anything different?
Vermont area code. Reverse moon-battism?
Why is it that none of these turds are leaving for socialist paradises of North Korea/Venezuela/Cuba etc?
If these people would put half the effort into coming up to a solution to a societal problem that they do into coming up with new ways to be offended, they might actually make the world a better place...
There are plenty of places in this world that DO NOT celebrate the 4th of July, why not move there ?
Looks like she got 9 people to attend.
I wanted to go (to the fireworks) last night, kids didn't feel like it, they just kept swimming.
I do not understand denouncing our country for a few "sins" of our forefathers.
I love when people protest the things that make it possible for them to protest things.
The sit-in at the fireworks display was brilliant.
Personally I'd prefer katyusha rockets and rolling thunder air strikes but I'll take what I can get
1. Did they sit ON the fireworks???? I mean, how is this a protest. "We're going to sit here looking angry while the fireworks go off." So did my dad 40 years ago. (He, like I today, hates crowds.)
2. A conversation between Amherst and whomever. Got that cued up on your iPhone, doya?? Seems a very SPECIFIC conversation to have word-for-word transcription.
3. Had I seen this 2 days ago, I'd assume it was a joke.
4. I wonder if my brother and SIL drove down for it from NH. (OK, they aren't THAT bad, but they put FEEELINNGS over facts virtually every time. They've marched in at least 2 anti-Trump protests in Boston.)
How can these people even remotely deny that they hate America?
All I hear is how they LOVE America, but want to fundamentally change it. LOLs
The protesters are free to leave the country at any time...
I give 'em bonus points for being logically consistent. I was thinking about this on the 4th as the many anti-2A moonbats in my town celebrated an ARMED REBELLION.
So..... Do they have any actionable point to their protest? We can't go back in time and stop bad things happening to indians, and they were already given equal rights and casinos. I guess we could rejoin the UK and be subjects of the queen again .. Is this what they want?
Word is the protestors
deliberately went "ahhh" then "oooh"
in complete and utter opposition to
the hipster crowd's ironic "oooh"'s and "ahhh"'s.
