Americans are acquiring guns, silver and food stamps at record levels in reaction to the crumbling economy, trends indicative of a fearful public who are struggling financially and preparing for potential mass civil unrest in the aftermath of a total economic collapse.

FBI records and Google Trends research shows that firearms purchases are still at record highs, but that ammunition sales have leveled off, suggesting that a flood of first-time gun owners have rushed to protect themselves from the potential of higher crime and even civil unrest in the event of a widespread financial meltdown.

That said, the article isn't wrong. People have been buying more guns since Obama got elected, partially due to fears of bans, and partially due to fears of the net effects of rampant socialism.

Go fill your safes with silver and ammo, for the precious metals will skyrocket in price if we come to the breaking point and snap. Buy junk silver jewelry along with 1oz pieces, for a gallon of milk and bread may be 1 oz.
Yes, stock up and if things get better, you can shoot the ammo, eat the food and melt down the silver to make one hell of a nice memorial to not having to have to use the supplies. Or better yet, silver bullets for vampires and werewolves.
