I picked up this specimen about a year ago, sans bayonet. But a few days ago, I had to install a bayonet on my Yugoslavian refurb M44, so I finally got around to placing a bayonet on this not often seen example of a mysterious /25\ marked and refurbished Soviet M44. It also sports both the Izhevsk Arsenal triangle and a Star on the barrel shank, and looks a bit more complete now.
Oh, and the original matching numbers don't hurt it, even one little bit! No scrubs, force matches or line outs. Still has a fairly sharp Soviet CCCP cartouche, too.
