It is a tad cold in SW Florida this morning, but before I got poured on in a huge way yesterday it was 82 and sunny... the ride home sucked but I had my full faced helmet and my jacket liner which saved my bacon, the guys I was riding with were not as well prepared.

I had the frame replaced on mine - recall and sold it because the rear-end and the steering rack severe rust Issue.
It has been exposed to salt water every boating season.
My frame was inspected by Toyota and deemed fine.

It was always in name only.
True for the H2 & H3, the H1 was the benchmark of that era, everything else that followed was less manly.
I'm not a Hummer fanboy by any stretch, but I do recognize their contribution to the automotive universe, and I admit they look cool.
However, I've seen them at accident scenes, and they only look tough.
From my perspective, they suck, the H1 is wider at the wheels than the standard width of the siderails on a 20' deck.

GM to bring back the Hummer...............................in name only

I really really wanted GM to make the Hummer HX concept. That was a seriously cool vehicle and had a lot of the features that makes Jeeps desirable such as removable doors, roof, etc. If you can't wait there is a company that does custom conversions and will make a Hummer HX from a donor Hummer H2. It's called the H2X. There's a number of videos online of the conversion. I know one person who bought one, but I never saw it in person. I've always had a soft spot for Hummer, especially since I've owned 3 of them and for a few years I had all 3 at once, an H1 wagon, and H2 SUV and an H3T, definitely a unicorn car and 10 years before the Jeep Gladiator. They were all fun.

I picked up a 2006 Scion tC for my commute. It’s 47 miles up and down I-19 each way.

Its a pretty fair car. 5speed manual. But I did upgrade the head unit to an ATOTO A6. And added a 1080 dashcam.
The very next day I narrowly missed a deer. Like so close I don’t know how I missed. That doe would have totaled the little kindA Toyota.
