Alabama bill intended to block new federal gun control laws

I hope we see more of these. This seems to have some teeth for officials that ignore it.
"Stringer’s bill says a citizen could file a complaint with the attorney general’s office saying a local or state agency has violated the prohibition on enforcing new federal gun laws or regulations. The attorney general could petition a court for a ruling. If a court found that the agency broke the law, the agency would be deprived of state tax revenues and grants for a year."

Sure. The state withholds states funds from a municipality.

In a shocking case of turnabout, the feds could easily do the same thing. Allabammy is likely on the receiving end of federal funds versus taxpayer revenue. This is why these things don’t work.

I like the concept, but you are right. DC demands a dollar and returns .60 cent

Another instance why the federal income tax amendment to the Constitution was a giant mistake.
