Every terrorist attack in Russia ends badly for most involved. They don't hesitate and if the plans actually worked( 2002 Nord-Ost siege) it would be a stroke of genius.
To sidetrack the thread.. If you were in the military and found an AK, would you be tempted to sneak it back in to the US?

It would be very hard to sneak one back. Both times I came back from Iraq, we had to dump out all of our bags in front of Navy military police and they searched through our belongings before we were able to get on the plane. Any packages we mailed back were x-rayed as well. I wouldn't doubt that someone found a way but it would have been extremely difficult.
