AK47-WASR10/63'S AND 10,000 ROUNDS OF AMMO

Had a conversation with the Gunrunner gun shop in Middleboro today, tel:508-946-4867. I'm not an AK 47 guy but they mentioned that they just received 10 AK47-WASR10/63's and 20/ 500 round cases of 762x39 ammo. 10 cases of FMJ and 10 cases of hollow point. The WASR 10/63's are $650.00 each and 500 round cases of 762x39 are $225.00 each. I posted this information since I heard that this material is about to be hard to find. Hope this information helps some of you.

wasrs are romanian and are not included in the ban. doesnt mean that they wont rise in price as there is less competition on the market now without the saigas around

Are you sure that's not the price for 1000 rounds? If that's the case price then that is a total ripoff. I understand charging that for individual boxes, but not for a case.

All though I have not kept up with the sanctions . I don't think ammo has been a issue yet? Gave up @ this point. If ammo is going to go bonkers I might have to unload some.

They told me that this ammo doesn't have the lacquer finish that Tula and others have that gums up barrels and receivers. That's about all I know about it.

maybe you could find out the manufacture of the ammo ?

Most likely polymer coated casings. Probably Wolf or Uly.

Unless its Cheetah 7.62x39, its not worth $225 for 500rds.

It's worth the trip to NH since you can buy 1k rounds for the price of half here.. I was quoted as high as $400 for a case from one dealer and this was well before all thats gone on recently.
