Details unclear from major news sources. Someone opened fire at/or near a concert near the Mandalay Bay.
One suspect was down. Several deaths an many injured reported so far.

Gun fire sounds automatic in 40-60 shot bursts. Not good.

Where, the video I heard didn't sound like a M60, sounded like AR w/30rd mags because of the number of rds fired and then the pause and more firing. He wasn't firing bursts, he seemed to be emptying the full mag on auto.

First of all my thoughts and prayers are with those who were injured and the families of those who were killed.
Second I think we should not judge Las Vegas or Nevada by the acts of a clearly deranged person.
Third I am hoping the opportunists keep their mouths shut until after the healing and grieving process has ended.
Finally I am hoping that all wait until we have ALL the facts about the incident before the finger-pointing and blame-games start.
