The American Civil Liberties Union has filed suit against the town of Shirley on behalf of a town official who was banned from all publicly-owned buildings after making a comment about guns.

As dumb as it was for this guy to say this, it amazes me the lenghts the ACLU will go to in order to protect the sanctity of 1A yet have a membership that is against 2A.

as a Shirley resident all I can do is laugh.... This town usually seems to be quite gun owner friendly. I don't know any residents who have had any problems getting FIDs or LTCs

Interesting point.
I know a guy who named his sons "Hunter" and "Gunner", but he lives in Maine where it's not an issue.
If his kids went to school in Mass, they'd probably be forbidden to use their legal names.
