I would be happy enough if the ACLU just ignored the 2nd amendment. They could say that the NRA (which is much bigger and better funded) has it covered and they're going to spend their time and energy on other things. Instead, they espouse an ahistorical reading of the second (along with the usual selective quotes of US vs Miller). So, no cash for them from me.
