Just put an A2 stock on my lower. After securing the reciever extension (buffer tube) and then putting the small buffer extension onto the rear and sliding the stock on, the buffer extension still rattles after the stock is screwed in.

Is this normal? Screw is secure in end of buffer tube but the extension has a slight amount of play that alows a rattle from the rear of the stock then the whole thing is shaken.

Thanks

Not normal, it should be tight.

Cut some kind of fiber or rubber washer to shim between stock and spacer, use a correct thickness bladed screwdriver and tighten it up.

Thanks, really really tightened the screw down and it stopped rattling. Now the trap door is difficult to close. I can live with this till I cut a washer out of gasket material to take up the millimeter or so.
