I know I'm not the only former Arkiesawyer here.

Arkansas police and politicians have been trying to deny the truth of this law since it passed in 2013. This district court of appeals just shut them down.

"Under the clear language of section 5-73-120(a), the possessor of a handgun must have an unlawful intent to employee it as a weapon against a person in order to make that possession a criminal act. Under the rule of lenity, any doubts as to the interpretation of a criminal statute are resolved in favor of the defendant."

The rare instance of a bad case resulting in good case law.
