I have a couple of S&W Sigma 17rd. PreBan Magazines that are in Brand New Condition that Never Saw a Round!
I believe these mags are stainless steel, I have one polished and I have one un-polished. The inside looks polished from the factory.
In picture’s 7 & 8 you can see the difference in the S in the logo from a PreBan to a PostBan!
I bought this mag brand new in the early 90’s before the ban.
