I'm now rooting for the White Sox.

Considering that the ChiSox havent won the series since 1917, I'm pulling for them as well. The Cards are going to be tough though, I bet they win it all.

Maybe...but the WS now have the RS to look at. We pulled it off last year and that might just be enough to give them the gonads to do it this year. I would like to see them win.

No, to make it to the world series. I would love to see a BoSox/Cubs WS.

And to be honest, next year will be tough. We're going to be losing a lot of people.

I have a feeling that Manny will be gone. Damon is going to be a free agent...actually I think that there are 5 or 6 current Sox players going on Free agent. And you know that they won't sign then all.

SO it's going to be dicey next year.

Duh... [oops] I got my teams confused for a moment.

<whew> I feel much better now. Ya had me worried there for a second. :D

Lynne,

Just how many games did the Red Sox win this post-season????

Inquiring minds want to know.

Then you'd better ask someone else luv. [lol] I don't follow them THAT closely (and, I WAS tied up a bit with hospitals, stents and the like), but I'm still a fan. I'm sure C-pher can answer that one....right C? :D

LOL! Yea, that number would be a big fat goose egg.

And even though it was a pretty good game last night. The ChiSox didn't win, but they have 6 more to go...So we can only hope. And the good news for them, Colon is off the playoff roster because of a sore back and shoulder. Being that he's argubly the best pitcher in baseball, that's a good thing for Chicago...So we'll just have to see.

I think the Astro's may take it this year.

If you look back since when the Yankee's won it last, it has alternated leagues each year, and it was the wildcard winner.

So, if it follows suit, Astro's.

And got to love Selig for the new postseason, a lot more fun to watch and some teams that would have been out of the post season race by march still now have a shot. Best playoff setup IMHO.

My first thought was that, since the Red Sox won the series last year, it would only be appropriate this year for the White Sox to beat Anaheim, then throw the series. [roll]

Well...it would keep with tradition, wouldn't it? [wink] [lol]

Too funny...everyone on the team would pull a Pete Rose...

And that play last night...I'm not to sure about it. But, if the ump called it taht way, he can go run on a swung strike three. I think that Paul just had a brain fart and didn't tag the guy out...

But hey, a win's a win. So they take them anyway you can at this point.

And that smack by Reggie....

I have to agree. This is one hell of a post season.
