Came up with this analogy for gun control here. Pass it on if you like it!

Ok Picture this. The speed limets on I-95 (The whole route from the Canadian Border at Holton Maine, to Key West Florida) is reduced to 15MPH.

Yep 15 miles per hour is written on EVERY speed limit sign from Maine to Florida.

At the same time the Highway Patrol is eliminated, and Speeding tickets and speed monitoring is no longer done (it's still on the books, just NOBODY, no matter what speed they're doing will EVER receive a speeding infraction).

Have you pictured this imiginary road yet?

Ok on this road are there MORE speed-related accidents, or LESS?

Then somebody from the UK comes by and mentions that the roads and cars are so crappy over their that they can't get over 15MPH anyway, and that they're better off that way. [rolleyes]

This is how our country treats gun control.

Arrrr
