Some of you may remember when I mentioned bringing my nephew to the range a little over a month ago.

He lost his 6 year battle with cancer on Tuesday. This past year has been exceptionally tough, with a lot of physical therapy. Things looked pretty good until a month ago when there was a return of the cancer. His body was just too tired.

He was a good kid who put his heart into whatever he chose to do. Obviously as a teenager, getting him to choose to do something was sometimes a challenge his parents had to deal with. School was easy for him. He excelled at art & music on his own time. He definitely walked to a different drummer, never one to follow the trends, & that was one of the things we loved about him. One of his strongest talents was bringing people together and getting them to open up. His circle of close friends were from all walks of life & probably would never have even acknowledged each other if wasn't for him.

Please keep him and his family in your thoughts for the Christmas & Holiday season.

Thank you,

CD, very sorry to hear that!

My thoughts and condolences to you and your Family!

cd...

My condolences to you and his family. We'll say a prayer for his soul and for his family to find peace. Please let them know that we care and are thinking of them.

Thanks again, it really means a lot to Tina's family and myself. I was about to post these images earlier but got called away quickly with an emergency, so here they are. No, I wasn't getting anything done at work.

This says what I tried to express in the initial post much better:

I've been spending the evening gathering, scanning & printing photos to have at the service, here's the one that was used above. The tattoo is of a Celtic Love knot & 3 roses, representing his parents and younger sister.

Aw Chris....I'm so sorry hun. You and your family will be in my thoughts. He fought a good battle, but sadly, cancer sometimes wins. Because of the number of people he touched, he will live on in everyone's memory, and he will be remembered. <hugs>

Lynne,

Thanks. Hugs are what's helping everyone at the moment. We really thought he had it beaten a couple of times, it just wouldn't let go.
