Look at all of the Alphas! He has a r390 just like mine.
At almost 95,000 QRZ lookups, I think he uses all of those rigs heavily.
I just worked him on 20 cw in the ARRL DX Contest about 30 seconds ago. He's on 14.056.77 right now.
Just worked him on 40 cw -- I'm loving this HRD alarm feature!
I set an alarm in HRD after I saw this thread. It just went off -- W9EVT is on 20 CW at the moment, too weak to work though. God all this new stuff is so frigging cool -- I'm an old school old fart, but I woulldn't go back to the "good old days" for a million dollars!
I also set one for OH8X, but so far I haven't heard a signal on 80 or 160 that does that antenna justice. Still waiting.

And it's awesome. I run my FT-450 with it. Although i do have one question. when i tune using the mouse wheel the 40m band stops at 7200. i'm sure there's a setting. Anybody know how??

Between ham radio, guns, golf and my son I pretty much spend money faster than a democrat.
