The Riviera.
My dad had a 65' Gran Sport, new back in the day, 425, 11:1, with factory Dual Quads.
I remember riding in it as a kid.
My uncles told me the car was an absolute beast, it would pass anything on the road, except a gas station. [laugh]

So I have a 67 Firebird I have had about 13-14 years.....I often go on kicks where I look at other cars...lately I have been obsessed with 65 Buick Rivieras......Just thought I would do a fun little hypothetical post about which car you would rather have if given the choice?

Tough choice, but I would have to go with the Firebird and a paint job. That stock, original color just doesn't do it justice. But the same is true for the Riv.

Those cars are as different as night and day.

The Buick is built much better, thicker steel and closer tolerances. It was (and is) a luxury car through and through.

The Firebird is a lightweight sports car, and a little "flexy" as a convertible.

The picture I attached is what you really want - luxury and performance.
