610s back in production

Was surprised to find out S&W is making the 610 again, I ordered one today. Only offering them in 4 and 6 inch versions.

It’s been a while now, maybe a year. Ruger put out a 10mm GP100 so I’m guessing S&W wanted a piece of that (small) pie. If I reloaded 10mm I would probably want a 610, although It takes me ~3 minutes until I’m annoyed by a moon clip and just want a damned rimmed case (357, 44)

Saving up for one.
In .40 they're hell on wheels for bowling pin shoots. Although since the last production run ended way back when, other viable options have been in production for a while, like the 625 or the 627, and plenty of hunting options outside of 10mm

I love my 610. I shoot .40's with it. Steel plates and bowling pins.
