Took the 98M for another range trip. A chilly 35 degrees even with long johns and ear muffs; thankfully no wind and partly sunny. This time I shot 60 rounds of '56 Yugo (15% of my stash) with no problems as I used the new Wolf spring. Standard 100 yards, seated, no rest. I found after 30 rounds I almost couldn't see the target between heat shimmering off the barrel, and my bifocals fogging up when I neared the receiver.
All rounds on paper; 12X, 12-10, 20-9, 14-8, and 2 misses for 532 of 600. 1/3 of the rounds were within the size of a baseball. This rifle shoots!
