5 Armed Men Try To Enter Detroit Home, Female Concealed Carrier Inside Says Nope

Link? This is from yesterday and I don't see any posts that have "Detroit" in them.

Sorry...it was a post you posted yesterday that was almost like this one that took place in Chicago.....Chicago, Detroit...same difference

I joined the Army in October of 1966.

My first "combat" tour was in Detroit in July of 1967, during the riots.

When I went to Vietnam later that year in December, I felt a bit more safe....because they at least gave me a loaded weapon to protect myself!

There is no way I would ever live in Detroit without at least an M-60 and a hundred belts of ammunition!

Was it really that bad back then too? I thought during the "Golden Era of Automobiles" it was better? Or maybe that was just in some areas it was ok?

5 targets and she was the only person left with a bullet hole...this ended a lot better than it could have because she escaped with what i assume is a non life threatening injury, but certainly not ideal.

when you open fire there's no guarantees, but I think she definitely came out on top on this one. 5 vs 1 woman and she was able to repel them with a single handgun. I want to see a legislator come out and say we should have restricted this woman's magazine to only 10 rounds. They say they support woman's rights, I call BS. I support a woman's right to shoot these scumbags in the face with ghost guns using 30 caliber clips.

How many people have these so called "gun laws" killed by hamstringing them in their ability to defend themselves against roving bands of thugs and psychopaths.

JUST ONE death caused by a person not being able to defend themselves due to one of these gun control laws is a far worse statistic and price to pay than all the gangbangers and thugs killed in shootings combined EVER.

JUST THE THOUGHT THAT A RIDICULOUS GOVT GUN CONTROL LAW THAT CRIMINALS WONT FOLLOW ANYWAYS MAY ONE DAY PREVENT ME OR MY FAMILY FROM PROTECTING OURSELVES FROM THESE SCUM MAKES ME FURIOUS.

Maybe we should incorporate Chicago and Detroit into one city called Chitroit. Pronounced "$h1troit"

5 on 1, and the 5 have an unknown amount of firearms and the 5 may or may not have been hit. I'd say she did good. It's tough hitting anyhtign when you potentially have 5 peopel shooting at you, some might not have even got a shot off but she wasn't going down without trying at least.

No we should get a 7 round limit so that way all those guys who accidentally went to the wrong house don't end up getting hurt next time

Went there for a Red Sox game in late 70s and it was bad then...can only imagine now. We drove there too, with MA plates. Mother of Christ what a mistake that was, but we were young and "invincible"...
About 8 years ago my (then 18) daughter, who liked the WWE wrestling stuff back then, asked "if I thought it was OK for her to drive there with her friends for Wrestlemania". ...I must've looked and sounded like Tony Soprano with my one word answer to her:
"Fuggetaboutit" !!!

I lived in Detroit in the early 90's. I opened a beautiful restaurant in the Renaissance Center.

great location, and good business traffic during the day. But when the lights went on at night, the thugs came out. Hookers, thieves, drug dealers/addicts. It wasn't long before the thugs ran us out. Although lunch business was strong, it couldn't keep up with rent and paying guests wouldn't come at night
