I just purchased a LAR Grizzley for investment and some shooting. I am looking for reloading data for this round. I have some info from various sources but I need more. My preference would be to load with Hornady 230 G XTPs using either 2400 or Blue dot. This bad boy gets a 230 G bullet out at 1,400 fps....should scare those pins off the table. Thanks in advance...

I use 24g of winchester 296 with a Remington 185 grain. I shoots flames with a mild recoil. The 230 grain round nose gives MUCH more recoil. I have tried many different loads with my Grizzly.

Dirty Harry; Also have loaded up 200G XTPs with 19G and 19.9G of Blue Dot. The 19.9 load is a little unpleasant.....I agree the 230 G bullets are stout....Should get about 1,800 fps w 185s.....
