45 long colt different size case

I am loading brass case, I have some nickel plated try to load, they are smaller than the brass, they are hornady caseing. just for information.

Yup. Some factory Hornady 45 Colt ammo originally loaded with FTX bullets used cases that were trimmed to 1.215".

There's also some Hornady factory ammo in .45-70 with short cases.

Nope. I don't have anything in that caliber.

I have some factory 35 Remington ammo loaded with that bullet, is it just the straight/tapered cases that are cut down?

I don't know.

Also, not all FTX bullets require the short cases.
