I bought a batch of once fired 45 acp brass and mixed in were some small primer ones, I won't use them out of principal, so if any one can use them let me know shipping on me, they iratate me just looking at them, why in gods name would you screw with something that has worked flawlessly for over a century.

I have a large container full of these. Apparently they were used by Federal when they were experimenting with "green" ammo. I haven't tried to reload them yet.

All of the ones I have like this are federal too. I have the Lyman reloading book, and some of their loads specifically call for the use of Federal cases - what's the advantage?

DukeInMaine will use them. I believe he loads everything but aluminum.

Blazer uses them also. Many were crimped primers so they need to have the pocket swaged. I will take all you have it saves changing primer tubes.

For revolver shooters, it is also more forgiving on light actions.

FYI 45GAP uses small Pistol also so check your head stamp

I have seen WIN NT, Federal NT, Federal (crimped), Blazer and Speer. It's almost not worth picking up anymore.
The NT I can understand, non-toxic priers being only available in small, but the others baffle me.
FYI, the NT is easy to pick out, the inside of the cases are almost like new, no burnt powder residue.

I've been saving them for when I get a 625. They are much less obnoxious when they are moon clipped and don't get mixed up the regular 45 brass. I won't have to switch from small to large primers on my 550b.

Do you want me to start saving mine for you? I would be more then happy to and just get them over to you at some point at the range.

IMO the best deal is to accumulate a ton of them, reload them and save them for a shoot where you are going to throw away/lose your brass.
