I blame the forum upgrade for this purchase as I would not have visited gunbroker otherwise!Post war 357, pre-27 model, 5 screw, 6" bbl, Pinned and recessed. Finish is rough from putting away wet in holster but not pitted. Wrong grips but looks ok.
Serial number signed 5x and matches on barrel, yoke, extractor, frame and cylinder. S843xx appears to be from 1952. Love the cross hatch checkering on the top strap.
Lots of old fashioned quality that you just don't see or feel anymore.
Will make for a nice shooter.

Yea that's it! I'm blaming this forum for visiting Gunbroker too I wouldn't own the Marlin Camp 9 if I wasn't here and then went there and then spent all my fun money for the month on a new rifle .......... Oh wait yes I would have, never mind!

Awesome shape. It's Hammer time again.
Going to shoot some Bowling Pins this weekend, then it's off to WC for some more "individualization" over the winter.
