Wow, from HI to VT. What a change in 2A freedoms[thumbsup] I imagine you'll also be able to have a much, much bigger yard that you can string wire antennas all over.

Judging by your screen name, you've lived in some varied locations. VT is about as far away from HI as you can get on U.S. soil, and both are pretty far from Dixie.
 
Dixiejarhead, RANV (Radion Amateurs of Northern Vermont) has their monthly meeting in S. Burlington on Tuesday night. My wife and I are planning on attending. Their website is www.ranv.org; their repeater is 145.15 MHz(-600).
