Do I need want to attend a reloading class? Or is this caliber still available to buy somewhere?

I heard that short is still sold ($$$) but not long.

Not sure of off the shelf availability for the cartridge (maybe 327 fed mag?) , but reloading for it is your best bet.
I'm pretty sure you can still get longs. Friend of mine buys it whenever he sees it, his kid shoots a ton of it .

im sure you could find it somewhere but at what price. When I was looking for 32 S&W brass I game across 32 short colt . The brass was something on the lines of .65 each.

I believe the Colt uses a heeled outside lubricated bullet instead of the modern inside lubricated bullet that the 32 S&W (short or long) uses.
The 32 Colt New Police was basically the same as the S&W Long with a different bullet design.
