308 SBR rifle build question

Hey board, just trying to get some feedback on whether to use a panther claw or reaction rod (or similar product) for my upper receiver build. Any feedback and comments would be appreciated. Thanks

I have used both and haven't noticed a practical difference in most situations. Either can have issues if you are really cranking the barrel nut tight (or muzzle device), but that's not really a good idea anyway. I might have a slight preference for the Reaction Rod versus the Panther Claw because it puts less stress on the receiver, but again, as long as you aren't really yanking on anything, either should be fine.
