300 Winchester Magnum build

I built my first bolt action rifle with a lot of help from a buddy. It is a 300 Winchester Magnum ( Remington 700 action ), 27” Wilson barrel ( 1-10 twist ), Leupold VX Freedom optic, KRG Bravo chasis, Harris Bi-pod, Precision Armament “ tank “ muzzle brake and a custom bolt by Pacific Tool and Gauge. Looking forward to shooting it!

Nice, any reason you have the scope so high or was that the only mount you had on hand at the time.

It's the only one I had on hand. It's a 20 MOA mount I took off my AR-10. At least on that rifle, with a different Leupold, I ran out of adjustment trying to get out to 1000 yards and had to pick up this 20 MOA mount. I will see how it does when I shoot it to decide to keep it or change it.
