The 30 round M1-Carbine mags were introduced very late and on a limited basis in WWII, with more widespread use in Korea and with the M2.
I was poking around a gunshow last weekend and found a SEY-stamped (Seymour) hardback 30-rounder, and a BW-stamped (Winchester) 15-rounder.
Nothing really spectacular. But it gives me an opportunity to post some pics of an original excellent conditioned late-war Winchester carbine, and now with a repro sling. Just passing some time on a sunny day.
