Ok so got some cash swimming in my pockets and obviously want to broaden the spectrum of my collection. Will probably dump it all on guns and ammo. What should I get?

The following are already represented in my collection
15-22
.40
91-30
30-06
12ga pump
12ga auto
1911
AR 15

Things I want. Well the list can go on forever but......

Lever action
SKS
AK
Wheel gun
Beretta 92
Garand

Suggestions?????

Can't go wrong with an AK and an SKS. With $2K, you could buy 10 Mosins!!

In all seriousness, definitely consider a Mosin Nagant. One should easily fit in your budget and not preclude you from hitting the other items on your wish list.

I would pick the AK & Garand: That covers a ton of ground.

Pass on the 92. The wheel guns & lever action are fun to shoot on occasion but come in second to the AK & Garand. $0.02

3rd on the list of haves already (Mosin 91-30). Although I do want an M44. I'll add it to the list.

An AK is missing in my collection, so that's what I want next, but I see you don't have any type of 9mm...?

Definitely something in lever action. I have a marlin 336a in 35rem. Go for something in 30-30 or bigger. Always wanted a henry big boy in 45-70.

I agree - definitely a Garand and AK - and if you shop well, you should have enough left over for a case of GT 7.62x39 and a bunch of 30-06 from CMP

Good luck!

Of all the guns I've bought recently, I have actually had the most fun with a Rossi 92 in .38/.357 and a Model 62 winchester pump 22, and a S&W model 59

.308 battle rifle?
M1A
HK91 (PTR)
FAL
for 2k (or a little more)...SCAR17

Oh, and buy a Glock! ...though I can't argue with the p226 suggestion.

With 2k budget you should get the sks and 92fs, and you'd have enough money left to get plenty of ammo.
And don't get a mosin, everybody is buying them causing the ammo prices to go up. Just joking, mosins rule!!!!

Garand and SKS. You will be in the black immediately on a CMP garand, and a $400-500 SKS will hold it's value better than a similarly priced AK I think. Also they are both beautiful classic guns.

me?? i'd be going for a 1911, but you already have one. as a couple other folks suggested, larger caliber lever action. don't have one of those either, but they look like fun.

that's not even $0.01! bad advice! Beretta 92fs at 4seasons in woburn they're only $520 cash. I bought one and they're flawless, accurate, and fun….and you can buy MA legal 15 rd mags. pretty, military gun inexpensive, why pass dude?!

Exactly. The 92 breaks down in seconds, cleans easy, dead on balls accurate, and cannot be destroyed. Then there are the magazines in abundance.
