Reading the article. That's too freakin' funny. People getting upset over fantasy stories written by women for women? Jeez.

That Virginia Wade isn't bad looking.

    Edit: Beat me to it.

Dammit. Why didn't I think of that. This could be as big as that Twilight franchise.

    The Moral Majority strikes again.

I can see why people would be offended, but removing these titles from all search results?
The real problem here is Amazon basically has built Kindle into an AOL-style walled garden, so if you can't buy the ebook you want from their marketplace, most people just won't buy the ebook at all.

    I sure would.

I'd even wear a Bigfoot costume.

Wait, you can get eBooks from somewhere other than Amazon!?

But seriously, with the selection on Amazon, I haven't ever even had the thought to check elsewhere. And I love my Kindle Paperweight!

Its hilarious that they make a deal out of this. These type of books are nothing new. I remember a series of books called bedside reader that are a bdsm retelling of classic literature. Frankenstein was interesting.

Seriously - what is it with women and getting sexed up by vampires, Bigfoot - and a BDSM version of Frankenstein?

When I was a kid I used to read sci if a lot and came across quite a few books that contained explicit sex between humans and humanoid aliens. What, so Bigfoot is bestiality, and we have to have standards of what's acceptable? Seriously?

We're a bit of far down the slope to pull this crap, aren't we?

TL;DR version: god help those of you with children. I hope you're all homeschooling.

ETA: oh, I get it. The reason people are pissed is that this vindicates Phil Robertson. If women are buying so much of this stuff that there are 16 editions, I guess bestiality really is acceptable. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to finish tea bagging this guy I just killed in a PvP match.

HAHAHA this is so disturbingly funny. I can't believe anyone would be interested in anything like this, but I guess we are in rather strange times...
