22lr conversion kit

I've read that these conversion kits may not work with a notched hammer. Has anyone had any experiences with the cmmg kits for the ar15?

I am too lazy to go check my M&P 15, but I believe that mine has a rounded hammer and the kit works flawless. I have read up about the hammer issue but I think the notched one would work fine. It is a really simple part to swap out too, so you should be set to go.

I've used notched and rounded. Only time I had problems was in a 7.5" barrel which was fixed with a lighter Jp hammer spring. Just lube the hell out of it and don't worry about jams until you've got at least 300 rounds through it. It does need a break in
