.223 question

is their a difference between .223 and .223 Remington?
i picked up 1000 rounds of wolf (non polymer) Military Classic .223 Rem, 55 grain FMJ at the gunshow this morning but im unsure now after poking arund online if this is safe to fire in my bushmaster.
have i made a mistake or am i okay?

Thanks all, i feel better now.
i paid 170.00$ for a mere 500rds of xm193 at FSguns a few weeks back, so paying 99.00 per 500 at the show was a pleasant suprise.
I definetly want to keep buying xm193 for defensive/shtf purposes, but its just too damn pricey for plinking at the range every week.. especially considering that ive got got a 300-500rd a week habit.
and as a side note, maybe now i wont scare everyone away on the indoor range. (see 3 ft diameter muzzle flash w/m193
